Return/Exchange Policy

At BAY6, we strive to ensure customer satisfaction throughout your entire shopping experience and order process! We are also human, and understand that things happen or we change our minds. That is OKAY. We understand that returns/exchanges are a necessary component of operating a business and our main goal is keeping our BAY6 family happy.  

GENERAL TERMS

  • Merchandise may be returned within thirty (30) days from the date the order is placed for store credit or exchange only (no exceptions). Store credit is issued via digital gift card. 
  • All merchandise must be returned in NEW CONDITION (unworn/unwashed) with the original tags attached. Any returns received with smells of smoke, pet odor, body odor, makeup stains, pet hair, or deodorant will not qualify for a refund. If your item does not qualify for a return, you will need to make arrangements for it to be shipped back to you. We will contact you via email if your return is ineligible for refund. (Please see the ‘your information’ section on the return form). If arrangements are not made within five (5) business days from when the rejection email was sent, the item(s) will be held at our facility and no return compensation will be given. 
  • Any item(s) purchased with a discount code can be returned for store credit only (no exceptions). 

FINAL SALE ITEMS

The following types of items are final sale and cannot be returned for exchange or store credit (no exceptions):

  • Cosmetics
  • Lingerie
  • Silicone Bras
  • Bralettes
  • Accessories 
  • Gift Certificates
  • Items purchased during promotional periods when "final sale" is advertised

If any of the above items are defective upon receipt, please see ‘DEFECTIVE ITEMS’ for more information. 

SHOES

Shoes must be returned in the original shoe box and placed inside a separate shipping box to reduce damage to the original packaging and/or product. Damage to the shoe box (shipping labels, packing tape, or any other markings) make the shoes ineligible for return and the item will then be shipped to you, subject to a return shipping fee. 

Again, we will contact you via email if your return is ineligible for refund. (Please see the ‘your information’ section on the return form). If arrangements are not made within five (5) business days from when the rejection email was sent, the item(s) will be held at our facility and no return compensation will be given. 

SIZE EXCHANGES

If you would like to exchange your item for a different size of the same item, please indicate that on the exchange section of your return form. 

If you would like to exchange your item for a different item of equal value, please indicate on the exchange form. Must include (name of product, size you would like, color -if applicable-). NOTICE: We do not offer partial returns/refunds. Exchanges must be made for the same product or same single product value.

Please note that exchanges are subject to availability. If the item/size you requested is not in stock when we receive your return, we will process your return and issue a store credit.

DEFECTIVE ITEMS

Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt. If you believe you have received a damaged or defective item, you must contact us within three (3) days of receiving item(s). If we are not notified that you have received a damaged item within the three (3) day period, your order is considered to be accepted and any return for a damaged or defective item will be rejected. (Damaged items must meet general return criteria stated above) 

How to notify us of such item(s): 

  • Email a picture of the defective/damaged area to support.shopbay6@bay6clothing.com 
  • Please include in your email the order number, the item name, and a brief description to accompany picture
  • You will receive a response from our support team within 24-48  business hours

*Each item is photographed to its very best to display accurate colors, measurements and patterns. Please beware that various computer/mobile devices have different color display profiles. Items with slight variances will not be considered defective, as each item may be unique in pattern/color.

RETURN INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Please refer to the General Terms (above) to ensure that your return meets all necessary criteria.
  2. Returns must include a completed return form. If you cannot locate the return form (on the back of the packing slip included with your order), please print and include a copy of the order confirmation emailed to you or email us at support.shopbay6@bay6clothing.com and we will email you a new form.
  3. Please return your item(s) via the shipping carrier of your choice. Return shipping is solely the customer's responsibility. We suggest using a carrier that provides you with tracking information. We are not responsible for any lost or damaged merchandise while in transit back to us.
  4. Please allow our returns department up to five (5) business days for processing once your return has been delivered to us. Once your return is processed, we will send you an email with a gift card which can be applied at checkout or we will ship your exchange item to you.

REFUSED OR UNDELIVERABLE ORDER(S)

If your package is returned back to us as refused or undeliverable, we will contact you as soon as we receive it back. If it has exceeded the total number of days we allow for a return, we cannot issue credit or cancel the order. 

As merchants, we are not liable for an undelivered package due to incorrect shipping address or being left unclaimed at the post office. If you have any questions regarding this specifically, please contact our support team at the email listed above.
